1SORC Mini-Sumo Chassis

The mini-sumo chassis pictured here is the result of my contribution to the original MarkIII Mini-Sumo produced by the Portland Robotics group. Specifically the idea to move the standoffs closer together and use them to hold both the board and the servos as well as the idea to make the scoop detachable. By doing these things we eliminated the need for tape to hold the servos on and made the chassis a little more universal with the ability to replace the scoop with other options. With the recent development of the swedge-on standoffs I decided to make this chassis available here. It's significantly different than the current MarkIII chassis and allows for horizontal mounting of the front Sharp sensors if so desired.

1SORC Extended Mini-Sumo Chassis

This extended version of the 1SORC Mini Sumo kit includes Futaba servos and original Tigerbotics wheels. All you need is a few sensors and a Sumo11 board and this Mini Sumo is ready for business!
The servos included in this kit are not pre-modified and will require the typical hacking before use. You can choose to do the standard modification which allows them to be controlled by a servo signal or by fully gutting the servos, you can use them as gear motors and gain full speed control and a little extra power (Sumo11 boards all support the gear motor option).
